Artist Spotlight

We have some incredibly creative regular shoppers at The Repurpose Project and we want to share their repurposed artwork with you!

Bill Paine

Our first featured artist, Bill Paine, has been making these remarkable lamps out of found material. Quite a few of the pieces in these images were created using objects from the Repurpose Project. He also sources raw materials from most anywhere – yard sales, thrift stores, junk shops, scrap metal yards, castoffs/gifts from friends, the side of the road, eBay etc. The style of his work can range from elegant to funky and folk-arty. He uses only LED lighting elements in all his lamps and lighting pieces.

His work may be purchased at Gainesville Artisans Guild Gallery (https://www.artisansguildgallery.com/), in Gainesville, and Florida CraftArt Gallery (http://www.floridacraftart.org), in St. Petersburg, as well as his website (https://billpaine.com). You can contact him through his website.
