Join us for a festive evening of hot apple cider, local artisans with handmade crafts, photos with Green Sustainable Santa, live music on outdoor stage, kids crafts, Satchel’s Pizza, Swamphead beer and holiday cheer. Visit our Green Gift Fair Crafter’s Village of local artists featuring handmade and repurposed gifts and browse our shop for reclaimed guilt-free gift shopping. We are pulling out some vintage gift worthy treasures from the back! There will be crafting stations to create your own unique repurposed gifts for loved ones!
If you would like to table, send your name, contact info, photos, and a description of your crafts to chelsea@repurposeproject.org. Tables are $15-$25, $25 will get you top pick of table location. Vendor spots are first come first serve with precedent given to artists that use repurposed materials.
The concept for the festival was born out of Repurpose Project’s desire to emphasize treading lightly on the planet during this season of heightened consumerism and to focus on togetherness and community. The evening will promote buying local, handmade, and reclaimed gifts with a festive backdrop of holiday lights, warm drinks & music to be enjoyed with your family, friends and loved ones. Buy used, buy repurposed, and let’s make this holiday season a green one!
The Repurpose Project is a non-profit community based effort to divert useful resources from the landfill, redirect these items to the public for art and education, inspire creativity, and help us all rethink what we throw away. Let’s all help protect the planet and buy USED!
And don’t forget that Repurpose Project Gift cards are available!
