…to sum it up…29% of US green house gas emissions are from our STUFF(extraction or harvest of materials, production, transport of goods, provision of services, and disposal). Buying used things from a thrift store or a creative reuse center can help save the world. SO LETS ALL COMMIT TO BUY USED STUFF WHENEVER POSSIBLE! Switching to CFL’s, energy efficient appliances, and energy efficient cars are some important exceptions!
